Drugs theme on A Mixed Bag with Chris B

Unofficially, this week is Drug Action Week.  Tonight on A Mixed Bag with Chris B we explored the theme of drugs in society, which included an interview with Geoff Munro, National Policy Manager with the Australian Drug Foundation (ADF).  We looked at facts and statistics about drugs like cannabis, methamphetamine (ice), cocaine, and heroin.

To listen to our interview with Geoff Munro, click on the link below.  Subjects covered in the interview tonight were secondary supply of alcohol, ideas for hosting a safe party, the difference between legalisation and decriminalisation of drugs, and many other drug related topics.

The ADF Good Sports Program is a program which provides free support to sporting clubs to assist with changing the "boozy" culture in sport, focusing rather on young people and families participating in sport and drinking less alcohol.

Ian Campbell, Regional Content Manager - Breakfast Presenter for ABC South East Local Radio, recently interviewed Stuart Wood from Cooma about the Good Sports Program.  Please click on the link below to listen to the interview.
