Cats theme, and Relay for Life

It was great to move back to Tuesday nights with A Mixed Bag with Chris B.  Last Tuesday night our theme was "cats".  We heard music from Cat Stevens, The Stray Cats, The Cat Empire and even country singer Kitty Wells.  We also heard songs with the word "cat" in the title - Al Stewart's "The Year of the Cat", The Stray Cats with their "Stray Cat Strut", David Bowie's "Cat People (Putting Out the Fire with Gasoline)", Tom Jones and "What's New Pussycat?" and one I hadn't heard for a while, "Cool for Cats" by Squeeze.
Greg Whitby from Spectrum Theatre Group in Merimbula filled us in on how Spectrum fared after their five nominations for the Canberra Area Theatre awards (the CAT awards).
